CANADIAN MULTICULTURALISM DAY
As a multicultural city, where 105 different languages are spoken, the City of Vaughan is proud to recognize Canadian Multiculturalism Day. This day is an opportunity to celebrate diversity and commitments to democracy, equality and mutual respect of the various multicultural groups across the city and country. The significance of multiculturalism in Canada is ensuring that all citizens keep their identities, take pride in their ancestry and have a sense of belonging.
